    What do you think would look better white strat with black pickguard and pickups or white strat with white pickguard and pickups.... also if someone has pictures of a white strat with a black pickguard can you post them so I can visulize it better/ ty

    Ok thanks, this helped. I just had to turn the truss rod 3/4 of the way. The guitar is a midranged acoustic. It is pretty old and I don't think the company exists any more "Quinn"?

    I don't own a digital camera but the action at the first fret is 2.5mm and the action at the fifteenth fret is 6.5mm. I hope that helps.

    I spent almost 10 minutes trying to find out how to fix a warped acoustic guitar neck and came up empty handed... does anyone have a link or want to spend the time to tell me how to fix a warped neck? (oh yeah I have hardly done any repair work on guitars... just changed pickups)

    Why is the Fretless Wonder called that name? Doesn't it have frets? I think the guitar also goes by the name Black Beauty.... I can understand that because it is black and looks sweet.

    Nice work! I am going to basicially the same thing as you I am going to re-do or upgrade (or what ever you want to call it) my old strat like guitar. I just need to get some money first.

    I've been looking for a single coil susitainer I could add to my fiddling around with guitar and I can find guitars with the single coil sustainer but not an actuall Single Coil Suistainer thing I could buy to add to a guitar. So if any one has a link or anyting for one that would be just awsome.

    I was thinkking about buying that Hohner headless guitar thats like $350 because I think it would be cool to add to my guitar collection. And then my friend said you need special strings for them and I was wondering if that was true.

    Can I put the string trees in a "wrong spot" which would make the intonation out of whack or something?

    I usually (always) use angled headstocks and I am doing my first guitar that has a non-angled headstock and I am wondering about "string trees" I don't know if that is the right name or not. I need to know why they are need and all that jazz. Here's a picture link!!!!! if my descripition is verry bad and you have no clue what I am talking about.

    Okay thats sweet to know. And if I get what you are saying if I wanted a cheap solution to get hot pickups I could slap a normal bridge pickup in the neck making it have higher output?

    I was wondering how people have found the quality of warmoth's and stew mac (and anyother company like that, and if you know others could you please tell me of them)'s strat replacement necks. I am thinking maybe I could get one for very cheap on ebay but that is usually a gamble (and as I've learned the odds are against me). So if you could tell me experiences with strat replacement necks or any cheap way to obtain one that would be absolutly sweet.

    I am redoing my fat strat knock off and the main upgrade is pickups. I can get a sweet deal on single coils but its for the bridge position. So I was thinking what harm would be done if I slapped those mofos into the middle and neck spots?
