  1. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now selling guitar body blanks. I have ash, basswood, and walnut. I also have some really nice wide curly maple that would be great for tops. All my blanks are kiln dried and professionally joined and thickness sanded to 1 3/4 inch. I can do special sizes upon request. I have both one and 2 piece blanks. I also do angled neck blanks for those that are interested. I have a few blanks and tops on my site-- Brt guitars and will be adding more soon. If you need something, give me a call or drop me an email, most likly I can get it. Just as a side note, I have 2 really nice walnut blanks that were one piece ripped down the middle and a 3/4" piece of curly maple laminated in. I will send pictures of them upon request. Thank you, Chris BRT Guitars

  3. Hello everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know a few things about BRT guitars. Yes, we can cut whatever specs you would like on Ibanez style bodies. The waiting period is usally around 30 days, sometimes sooner. We offer a 15 day "no questions asked" money back guarentee on all af our bodies, so you can purchase with confidence. Guarantee I thank everyone for the links to my site. All the sites mentioned in this topic provide very good guitar bodies. I have seen bodies from both of the other builders mentioned and they are very nice quality. Quality wise, the others and myself make bodies of equal quality. Anyhow, thanks for your time and feel free to email or call me about any of your guitar needs. Thanks, Chris BRT Guitars chris@brtguitars.com 717-514-2465
  4. The bodies are all cut by hand except for the KL model. It is cnc cut and hand carved. I will be switching to cnc soon though. As for the headstock, yes it is very, very close to the Ken Lawrence headstock. I am working on getting ahold of Ken for a license deal. The ash is white ash, not swamp ash. It is heavier than swamp ash but only by about 2 Lbs. The one piece ash that I have is heavier than my white ash. I cut my own trees and the batch from that particular tree with the one piece stuff seems to be fairly heavy. Thank You, Chris
