i like the holes my favorite is the chicken wing one....but i dont like the chicken wing! maybe make it sharper, like a harpoon?

i just need to fix a few things here and there ill post a complete version soon or something the neck isnt to true scale though. the body should be 99% accurate though and it IS in proper proportion

the downside to this is how much you need done. a complete dressing job could really lower your frets and change the feel of ones guitar. at least thats what ive experienced. ← that is true...really his best option would be to take it back to the person who set it up for him ← i could never do such a thing. i have a beef with paying $60 for a setup when i can do it myself for free

i like the original better the sharpe angle on the bottom kinda goes against the arc-like flow of the rest of the design though at the same time...i like the new balance you gave it

i like the back bottom i think the back top needs some work. possibly work on the wing and make it a little more ergonomically sound, and straighten out the arcs on the up-back "wing" overall i think you're on to something cool

i did give him advice. i told him that a 45* rotation would inhibit his playing, and that a possible better idea would be for him to do what inspired him and get a kirk hammet or whoever style guitar and do the "carved faces" idea which he said he liked as well positive criticism: why dont you make the deisng into an ML type guitar? obviously with the metallica star, a star shaped guitar should be in your best interest. try coming upo with a design which incorperats the ML's balance, and add the jaggedness similar to that of the symbol. possibly when you are done you could bevel the edges and paint the silver, and then the entire thing would resemble the metallica logo. -
Why are the electronics posing such difficulty that you have to bring it to someone else?

how am i being a jerk? he asked about rotating it 45 degrees and i pointed out how that would make the top spike stab him in the ribs (which it would!)
