  1. Hey Drak havent spoken to you in a while I think i might just take it to a pro then, Its not that bad but its bad enough to annoy me, and when im gigging 6 or 7 times a month, i can only see it getting worse as it gets chucked into the van each time Cheers! ~~ TS ~~
  2. Hey guys! What would be the best way to re-cover my Marshall 4x12 cab? Its beginning to rip in places and has lost its colour in places (1992) and i want to refinish it. Is it possible to just paint it? what paint should i use? Cheers guys!! ~~ TS ~~

  6. I have just become the proud owner of a Marshall Valvestate 8100 and 4x12 Cab but am wondering does any one know what years these were produced? I beleive the 8100 to be part of the 1st generation valvestates but have no idea what years these were made but am curious as it looks fairly old Knowing what years they were in production would be very cool, knowing the specific year would be even cooler if anyone knows how to find out? Cheers guys!! ~~ TS ~~
  7. Has been gigged quite a bit and it has no issues with reliability. The floorboard allows you to go between all 128x2 patches and allows you to acsess the onboard tuner! The floorboard also has an LCD Panel on showing the patch name, the current effects running, and the patch number. The LCD Screen is also backlit with adjustable viewing angle for onstage work These things are fairly rare and sound amazing, the only reason im selling is i feel it just has to many features for what i use. Some helpful features of the amp are the fact it has a preamp out and a poweramp out suitable for recording OR driving extension cabs Any other questions feel free to ask! For trade im looking for a Halfstack of sorts, preferbly not digital, So no Line 6 or Behringer Cheers guys! ~~ TS ~~

  9. I think everyones said it all now, Welcome aboard bro! Top right is the search feature, very helpful when digging out info, and if you cant find it, start a thread! Almost all the users here are amazingly friendly people and highly knowledgable and are usually more then helpful to help out See ya around the forums!! ~~ TS ~~
  10. After watching David Gilmour live (DVD) ive decided i want a whammy pedal (or i presume im do as far as im aware, hes using a pedal which is pitch shifting between octaves (sweeping as he uses it like a volume pedal sweeps) Thats a whammy pedal rite? Well if it is, thats what i want lol! Uk only though please guys unless you can think of a viable way to ship it here without killing me on costs ~~ TS ~~
  11. Hey and welcome aboard Kraut Theres a wealth of info on these boards, a quick browse or search usually answers most questions Look forward to seeing some future projects!! ~~ TS ~~
  12. I write a lot of the material for our band and writers block can be a right pain in the ass.. but can also be a sign to take a break When ever i get times where i can think of anything i go out, go for a walk or see some friends, let your brain get filled with lots of different things once again, then eventually you will get an idea again and then you can probs write a lot more Hope that helps bro! ~~ TS ~~
  13. +1 Should be cool to see this ~~ TS ~~
  14. I sold my Line6 Spider II 212 not so long ago and i would recommend it to those who either like copious amounts of distortion or quite a nice clean It has a nice range of settings with some good features (noise gate, onboard tuner and 2nd stage of gain (not that you should ever need it)) Theyre reliable (gigged with it many times) and combined with the FBV Express, you can use Wah and volume on the expression pedal. The only reason i sold it as it wasnt my "style". I dont like all that gain everywhere and i now use a Peavey Transfex Pro 212s ~~ TS ~~
  15. Definitly wasnt a mistake Duff Beer man One reason for selling is im looking to purchase some new photography equipment for my course next year and as this hasnt had much use... its gotta go Other reason for it going is i brought it for when i was travelling by train etc to places however as ill be driving soon, it wont get much use. ~~ TS ~~

  17. Take a printscreen of it and then paste & crop it in your favourite editing program... (paint always rocks ) I still think *THIS* one is a good design, perhaps extend the pickguard to go around near the horn? ~~ TS ~~
  18. I Rarely use software now to edit since i have my multi-track but when i do, i would either use Audacity with some decent VST plugins (free) or Sonar 5 Producers edition (license paid by college) ~~ TS ~~
  19. Give me 10 mins bro and ill post them up ~~ TS ~~ Pictures of neck and body , No pictures of the pickup, tuners etc since theyre boxed up currently. ~~ TS ~~
