  1. The strat is the only thing left. I have a feeling the person who bought the white tele body won't be completing the deal. If anyone is interested in that, I am open to offers.
  2. I want to refinish my neck, but I don't want to mess up the logo or serial number. Would I just tape those off, sand, primer, and paint everything else, then clear everything including the logo and serial number?
  3. That's what I thought, too, but the only picture I can find that clearly shows the pickguard has a tone knob. I was just wondering if it was a volume pot and the tone knob was just used, or if it really was a tone.
  4. On Eddie Van Halen's black and white guitar, was there just one volume pot, or one tone pot?
  5. I am looking for a strat pick guard that just has the neck and bridge single coil pickup spot, not the middle. I need another pick guard that only has 1 hole for a pot. Anyone know where I could get these?
  6. I will try to get a list tonight, definitely by tomorrow. Is there anything specific you are looking for, or do you just want some extra parts for emergencies?
  7. The picture sucks. I will get a better one. The real color is a transparent red. It's pretty sweet. This is really all I know. It was written on the box: Body: Hard wood Neck: Hard wood with Truss Rod Finger board: Rose wood Frets: 22 Pickups: Single coil X3 Regulator: Volume X1; Tone X2; 5 scales tone changer
  8. Also, I'd be willing to part out the strat copy if anybody needs parts.
  9. I'd sell it for $30 plus shipping. You in the USA?
  10. I'm confused, I only have one neck. You will give me $30 for the neck, or $40 for the neck and bridge? It's a tele bridge, by the way. Also, Harry S. Truman said the quote in your signature.
  11. I added crappy pictures. Litchfield- PM on the way. A list of the guitar parts is coming. I do have a Washburn humbucker. Primal- The body is brand new, SSH, all wired and ready to go, just needs a neck. It's 25.5" scale. deshibs- It's not a real Fender. I am not sure about the wood, I know it's not plywood.
  12. I don't care about getting cash, but you should conceal it pretty well. Are you from the USA? I will be getting pictures of everything tonight.
  13. I am almost out of debt!!! Here's what I got, prices do not include shipping: ***I got some pictures, but they aren't the greatest. I will take better ones shortly. ****New pictures! ******The strat is the only thing left. I have a feeling the person who bought the white tele body won't be completing the deal. 14. He wants you to make him an offer.
  15. If 2 100 watt speakers at 8 ohms would be 100 watts at 16 (by the way, is that right? Do you add the watts together, then divide by two, 100 watts + 100 watts = 100 watts with two times the ohms?) Is that too far off of the 40 watt amp at 16 ohms, or do you think that's the closest I am going to get? What about 2 50 watt @ 4 ohm speakers be in series, 100 @ 8? It's a Boss MG-80.
  16. In it right now is 2 50 watt, 4 ohm speakers series. Those blew up as soon as I turned the amp up. I want something that can actually be played fairly loud. The Eminence 6A are the same as the cheaper speakers I was looking at. 100 watts, 8 ohms. If I put those in parallel to get 16 ohms, does it make it 200 watts? That would pretty much be 100 watts at 8, the same as before?
  17. Alright, I decided to go against the Eminence and get the cheaper ones.
  18. Litchfield found these conversion nuts for Floyds.
  19. The locking nut clamps onto the strings so it doesn't go out of tune when you beat on the Floyd.
  20. DAMMIT! The Sony camera ended yesterday and I was waiting to get an email back from the guy who won about how fast he wanted it shipped. He's from Greece. He's new and has no feedback at all. I figured out shipping for three ways and emailed him. The email came back as invalid.
  21. The speakers I found are the cheap ones: "Power handling is 100 watts per speaker, impedance is 8 ohms" Eminence: 75 watts per speaker at 4 ohms. The speaker thing I was reading said it was better to have more power than your speakers can take. The speakers draw the power they need. If they are drawing more power than the head is producing, something blows up. I would actually need something higher than the peak watts of the speakers. Another thing I found said they should be matched as close to possible. There were 50 watt speakers in my amp, but they blew up.
  22. You haven't said how many holes you have to fill with 6" speakers which factors in considerably. 2. That being the case, you could get two of the 6" Jensens and wire them in series (they're 4 ohm which will be 8 ohm in series) and you're good to go. Do I want the speakers to be more than 80 watts at 8 ohms or less than 80 watts?
  23. You could use the locking nut with any bridge, but it's not really required for a strat bridge. You can't take of the locking nut and put on a regular nut because this one is bigger, and there will be a gap.
