I did a mahogony electric with TO. I wasnt worried so much about grain filling, as it was more to see how the TO would go. I applied about 12 coats over a week and then let it dryout for 2 weeks. I have found the finish to be very soft though. It has been about 5 weeks, and I can very easily leave fingernail marks by just tapping on the finish. Is it normal for TO to remain as soft as this? It is thoroughly dry to handle, but not very durable against scratches and knocks. thanks
