  1. Tks all that vote in my Blue Buster. Tks all that like or dislike (why not?) In my mental moment I would vote in Res, I'm more V's than Lesters in these days, in fact Im seriouly thinking to do a Jackson V to myself. BAPHOMET WARLOCK - I like this model, it's brutal!! I din't like the headstock an inlays markups. It doesn't fit the model in my opinion, but a great guitar i'm curious to listen how this pickups sound. Lemon VI - I gues that the name say like it sounds. Nice color an finish, I'd put some bevel at pickguard. Myself Lester - I think that bigsby polute the guitar. In fact I don't like this tremolo, but the owner buy all the hardware, I don't have a chance to make him change mind about this. Abou the lints Res, I realy try to clean, but aways had a dam dust in that dam gloss varnish!! (LOL) RES - Punisher - This is my second choice to this month. As ever a very clean build thread, just don't like the knob color (chrome feets better IMHO) and the eletric cavity cover, black or with the same wood of body wings will looks great. Numero Uno - Great rebuild, gues that the guitar sounds much better than a original. Avenger Thunderbird - This model its awesome, Avenger build a great guitar I just didn't like the switch pickguard at least a great guitar, excelent hardware. P&W - another seven strings, some day I'll make a guitar like that, 7 strings and swirl. Verhoevenc Project - I think that is no fair an acoustic instrument compete with a solid body, acoustics are much more artistic and hard to build, deserved a separete category. Congrats!!! Whalehazard Thunderback LW - great original ans strange shape, nice build, I just ask for a trus rod cover, where it is? In general all of you guys deserve my respect and appreciation, I always learn a lot from your build threads and I hope that someone could learn something with my threads.
  2. You'll looking for someone to build a project to you? It's it? Seeya!
  3. Absolutly awesome work!!!!!! The cleaness it's a other world thing!!
  4. There are many types of Cedar here in Brazil, it´s a native specie. Comparing with mahogany ( classical build wood ) we have: Pink Cedar ( Cedro Rosa ) - Ligther than mahogany - More darker sounds with bass tones increased; Amazon Cedar ( Cedro Amazonense ) Havier than mahogany - with more mid bass tones; Arana Cedar ( Cedro Arana ) - Havier than mahogany - with more mid tones; Pampa Cedar ( Cedro Gaúcho ) - Ligther than mahogany - with same mids but more hi tones ( much more brighter )
  5. This is another Supro Style Lapsteel. Body: Brazillian Ceddar Pickup: Kentarmstrong alnico p90 Tunners: wilkinson EZ-lock Finish: Red Gloss Poliuretane
  6. I forgot the clean jobs from Wevz, Paulie, Blackdog.... man I'll stop building kekekeek
  7. One day I'll do a clean job like Wes, Res and ScottR! Till the end my jobs are even rusty! (lol) Nice Job! Keep looking!
  8. Blue Burst Lester Body: Mahogany Neck: Mahogany Finger: Ebony Top: Maple Pickups: Seymour Duncan Phat Cat Bridge: Wilkinson roller TOM Tremolo: Bigsby Tuners: Schaller Build Thread - http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.php?showtopic=45302&st=0
  9. If Gibson to sue me some day or at least pass me an email about it, this day will be a historic day for me! hehehe But I think that Gibson will not care about the lespaul logo into a few gutiars
  10. Tks Men, I do love this burst, thinking to do something to myself with it. In fact I don't like Bigsby tremolos, it's very instable but the is the owner's wish I'll not disgus with him about it. If the guitar was mine I just put a traditional tuneomatic on it! About de LesPaul, I don't like to put it but the owner's aks for it, but my name it's bigger and call more atention than the lespaul logo, I guess.
  11. Tks guys!! Master if the nut its well done and lubrificated (grafitti) I think that the problem remains with de tremolo, a simple bend get all gutiar untuned. At the final pictures I use a Nikon D60 with two or three slave flashes. Th strongest flash pointed for the ceiling on a tripot to give an ambient ligth, other one weaker on a little tripot on the floor to give an fill ligth and the camera flash on the manual setup with minimum force as possible just do make the other one shot. The ambiente ligth I put behind and side me, the fill ligth I put on the opsite side the ambiente ligth.
  12. Black, even a roler bridge don't solve the problem. Minimize it. I put a harder spring than the original, all tremolo action gets harder too, but the tuning keep more stable. If the guitar was mine I do not put a bigsby, maybe a vibrola system for a vintage guitar or a kahler system to a modern model.
  13. Tks BlackDog!!! I think that black knobs will fit better, but is the owners choice, what can I do? Cry I guess! heheeheh The owner says me that have to tuning 3 times, and now it's stable. Even using a roler bridge the tuning goes to space after two songs with moderate use of the tremolo. I ask a friend that have one bigsby with roler nut and bridge and the answer was the same: tuning goes to space! Dive bombs? Forget it!!
  14. Oh I forget this.... tks eddie to remember me !!!!
  15. This thread make seems so easy to build a gutiar .... nice, very nice job Black!
  16. Binds glued. I rout most of channel extension with a regular router/bearing router bit, and that little edge at "voluta" with a dremel router and a micro router bit. This pictures had a very poor quality, because ate taken with my sony handycam with vga resolution, but give an idea of how the work it's done in this step. thi finish of the bind edges on the "voluta" it's impossible to do a plain joint, so, I decide to put a MOP dot there to get the work as clear as possible.
