im getting fret buzz on my acoustic and it is a cheap one. the strings are to close to the frets so when im playing the note doenst ring on certain spots.... how do i fix this??? its really interfering with my john mayer songs. lol

This is the floyd i want to use on the guitar above. but the routing for the body is weird... the floyd i have is a lo pro right? will i have to route the guitar like the one alex posted here?

can someone trace there charvel/jackson truss rod cover, u know the covers on the necks with kahler locknuts. and can somebody give me a pic of it?? i think i can make a couple of these from this pickguard i have..

lol nooo of course not, i love this guitar its soooo old. yeah it sounds pretty good, its a s/s/h setup pickguard and the humbucker is made by gotoh, so thats prety cool.

just got a aria strat....heres some pics im pretty sure this is an aria, cause look the headstocks look the same...and my headstock says pro too are aria pros good? didnt george lynch have one?

oh wow i think my shop teacher will let me powder coat this kahler... that would be da shiznit. but how would i go about doing it. do i have to powder coat the thing as a whole or take parts from it and powder coat each seperatly. or should i just go with my black chrome kit idea... cause this powercoat might cost me nothing

hyunsu im korean too, how much is wood like that over in korea? im going this summer and i might buy some if its cheap and bring it back here i really want to build my own guitar one day. it must give u a feeling of accomplishment and make u proud of the guitar u play becuase you made it.... if its cheap im buying lotssss

Messed up route?? the trem post holes are like....supposed to be lowered down to the paint part right? the floyd kinda sits at an angle when i put it on....is this ok?

oooo i like lol when i read that adhesive i was like WHOAAAA hahaha but that will be done. but after i glue it back in and it drys. i would have to sand the neck a little to get the glue that seeped out right?

yeah looks like some expensive tools....i am taking a shop class in highschool, im sure they have a planner and jointer right??? and also one of the side projects we get to do is a baseball bat, do u think the block of wood for the baseball bat would be enough for a neckthru neck???? and also aren't baseball bats made of maple??? wow that would be a better project.... but id have to purchace a fretboard before we do that. man im so excited!!! anyway since it looks like nobody will have a tutorial for making neck thru necks by the time i get to the project... what book would have step by step instructions on making one?

why arent there any tutorials for neck-thrus?? i never really seen anyone post pictures of them on the forum....i'd like to make one some day.
