Hopefully someone can answer because I actually came to the forum to post a very similar question.
How at home can you heat treat your timber?
Do you bake it? How long at what temp?
Any other info that will help is most appreciated.

I've been l;ooking at getting this one:
Problem is I emailed them and never got a response, so how do I trust them with the rest of the transaction?

Is it best to stain the fingerboard and neck before installing the frets, or after.
Do you stain directly over the fret (wire) and then clean it back when dressing, or do you tape them off?
What other methods have you guys tried to get a good finish in this area?

Thanks to everyone who has emailed info. We need more.
If you are the owner of a BC Rich, go pick it up and send us an email.
Thanks
Allan

has anyone ever chisled out a neck pocket? I could really use your help, I do not know where to start. Should I clamp the neck on my body and trace then remove and then start chiseling inside the lines or what. I have chisels but no router.I need help from start to finish PLEASE!!!!
I thought I had some pics to show, but I can't find them.
From a seated position, put the guitar body between your legs with the neck going down. Carve with your tool of choice (away from your body)
Hope this helps.

We already have posts at the shredder (moser forum). Thanks for the suggestion though. Can you reccomend any other guitar forums that may prove to be a success in reaching BVR owners?

About us:
A group of B.C. Rich specialists have formed an international team to gather information from all across the world and create a database that can be used to identify B.C. Rich guitars and basses from vintage era all the way through to the modern day instruments.
We have been in contact with B.C. Rich staff from modern day, as well as from vintage era from the '70's, 80's and even class axe days. But now we need your help. We are trying to answer all the questions about B.C. Rich identification that no-one seems to have the answer to. Eg: class axe Identification. Bolt on year identification. And so on.
If you send information and request for us to reply with a date for your guitar, we are happy to do so, but please make sure to include as much of this info as possible. At date, we have well over 1000 guitars recorded, but we have only just hit the tip of the iceberg.
Please register your guitar now.
Thankyou
