bloody awesome ! the other guitarist in my band owns an Explorer with his custom flame paint job, Black with Purple flames. it looks nice Black is still bloody nice tho good job.

Hello Drak, im a deadset beginner.. can you please give me info on how to acheive such finishes ? im making my custom shape, a Flying V x with Warlock tail, and just using some old epiphone pickups i have lying about, when i get the cash i will upgrade them of course (im only 16 and on a wage of 70 $ a week ). Any info on building will be greatly appreciated. I plan on buying a ready made neck because im not ready to make my own. Cheers Richard

That is insane. i am a beginner guitar builder, yet to build a guitar :s im going to start off just with the body and buy a neck, as i dont think i have the skills to make a neck yet.. ! what a top job that mockingbird is. My design is a Flying V with a Warlock hind/tail i am copying the routing pattern of my current guitar, a les paul, to prevent confusion. i plan on using a Kramer or Jackson neck. please email me if you have any tips.
