well...the prs cu24 just because of the shinnyness but at the mo I'll stick with my westone Thunder 2A (Got 3 now all around the price of £60-£100! ) Rob P.S damm the prs expensiveness, Thats why I'll build one!

well I use Rotosound 10-52 extra heavy bottoms last long and dirt cheap! (£4)

I love every thing a bout my super tramp, mabey the one you played was a dud or mabey it's just a preference thing . If I had a rack system, That would be my preamp of choice!

Who thinks Trace elliot amps are just the best? Guitar, bass or accoustic, I'm not picky. I myself have got a series 6 AH300 bass head, an older 2X10 cab with horn and 2 ports. Also I have a 15inch and 10inch speaker cab of the trace elliot design, that has a port too. I also have a Trace elliot compressor as the amps dont have them , but with it there is no problems! And my newest addition, A Trace elliot super tramp guitar amp! chuffed to bits with it! Its got two 12inch speakers a valve preamp and 3 channels. I want to hear what you have, i love gear ! . Rob

Hi just wondering where in the uk there is a good parts place and some where that sells proper tone woods. For a little while I've been going down my local moreys timber place and getting bits of ash and stuff while I got interseted in building guitars, and as for parts been takin' them off my older guitars. I've made one guitar and it was disatorus, Oh well I learned I guess . while I'm on the subject I can't find the book "how to build a guitar by melvyn hiscock" or somthing .Some one told me it's really good but I can't find it on amazon or nowt. Please help me! :o

cheers for the advice .I found a good site with some specs. I noticed that darons one has no pickup swicher and 4 knobs (2tone and 2 vol i think) but ifi makethis my self it shouldn't be a problem . I think i will make it out of swamp ash instead of bass wood as i have quite a bit left. cheers Rob P.S still wouldnt mind some more advice if any one hass some.

just wondering if any ones got any close up pics of system of a down guitarist, daron malakian's guitar as i was thinking of doing it for a project and i know you cant buy it. Also, if its possible, to find out any hard ware that is on his guitar and angles. I'd apreciate it very muck. Cheers Rob
