Stiffy

Well I'm not having any luck so far. Tried tremelo springs, raising saddles, raising 6 screws in front of bridge plate, turning truss rod counter clock wise. Still the strings on flat against fretboard. This is really bizarre!

Unfortunately the big E didn't work not stiff enuf. I completely dismantled the bridge from the block. Held it in my hand and rammed it real hard 3 times with a stiff thick coat hanger and it popped out!

What guage am I supposed to be putting on there? The springs and claw look fine. This is a 6 screw and not 2 point floater. Bridge is on tite.

I doubt it. I just put some 10-46ers on

I have this strat it played fine. I restrung it and now it isn't playable. All the strings are flat up against the fretboard so they just buzz. It has oldschool 6 screw whammy bridge and the tuners are klunson string thru the top posts. This just doesn't make any sense it played fine then when I restrung every string up against the fretboard just buzzin.

I can knock off $1.50 per book on shipping which is a savings of $13.50. 9 books=$29.25 +$18 shipped and insured=for a grand total of $47.25 which equates to about $5.ct per book. Which is still damn cheap.

I removed 5 strings out of this strat but the hi E is jammed in the block and won't budge! I even snipped it short and use the needle nose to wiggle it and push out, but no luck what so ever! It's totally locked in the whammy block.

Yeah thats a dimarzio quote. I'm looking for somebody who has actually wired 2 regular singles and 1 stacked in the bridge of a strat. All 3 pups are soldered on the volume pot and the neck and middle have tone control on a tradition strat set up.

I have 2 regular stock single coils and want to install a stacked dimarzio dp404 virtual vintage solo in the bridge. Has anybody done this before? Should I get 1 500k volume pot, 2 500k tone pots with a .047uF tone capacitor soldered between them?
