^ pleasssse do not do that!!!!
that would be soooo not good looking on this guitar.
i would say flat black....or mabye white?
black would look siccccc
but please do not do the zakk finish on this.
you havent decided on electronics yet eh?
well are you down to route another battery box cavity?
mabye run some emg's?
or mabye your more of a duncan man?
^ lol how do you play a 7 string or 8 string guitar?.....you just do...hahah....i learned on 6's and now i play sevens.....i can play both...you just have to open your mind a little more when playin 7.....after all its only one more string.
plus i play sevens because i tune to A so its a little ruff on my lp cuz i have to keep setting it up.
matt. the pickup that you were talking about...the mighty might on ebay?....was it from the seller warpdrive music? thats my dads music store here in milwaukee....its funny you would come across it.
lets start off saying that i play metal....like death metal......i do guitar flips and im having problems with my strap locks....the strap lock stays on the pin but the screw comes right out of the whole everytime i flip....is it because of the weight of my guitar?....do i need really huge screws?
any answer would be great.
the body style reminds me of a soloist meets one of those crappy drive guitars lmao.
but hey...first build.
and i sat the second one...if you can pull it off
i love this guitar my only turn off is the diamond plate contorl covers and that its bolt on....make a neck thru with some black covers and im SOLLLLLDD
im sorry to say but i would have bought some tools first before actually trying to build a guitar.
mabye buy some tools and start over because its going to be quite hard to smooth out all those drilled edges without taking to much wood out and therefore making the dimention incorrect.
i started routing now so a picture wont do much justice.
i think that the electronics were mounted on the top of the guitar and then they glued the top on.
do they have a small hole in the side of the knob?
if there is there is a small hex nut or screw in there you need to loosen.
if not ......i would just give them a real good yank
hey boys and girls i just recived a old les paul body from a friend and i found it quite interesting that there was no control cavity, i want to route a cavity but i would like to know if anybody had a template i could print out?
thanks alot.
