  1. All finished, I could never get a good angle for the pics. She looks much better live. I used no cover for the springs, the reason is that mwny of us always take it off. IMO it's better that way. Thanx for watching!
  2. Yeah, i've thought about not using CA. The mess occurs when I have to clean up the glue, but I don't want a fret to pop up one day.
  3. Ha ha! I know it sounds dumb, but my wife just sprayed the middle, nothing on the edges. Here's a better view...
  4. Some body work, cutting the neck pocket, I lost the pics of gluing the birds eye top, sorry got the electronics, Floyd and belly cut built the ax before going to the finish room, made sure it all clicked. These are Duncan Blackouts, they are so silent that even without soldering the ground wire it made no noise. And of she goes to the finish room, that's my wifes' job, making some kinda antiburst
  5. Nope, not CA, on this ocation I tried Gorrila Glue. Absolute garbagge! Don't bother trying, it swells up and f%&s up yor fret levelling. After this stunt I went back to CA.
  6. gave the fretboard 20" radius and sanded it down to 2000 grit. I still have the problem that after the frets are installed I lose all the shine. How do you guys do it? Used Stewmacs Jaws 2 to install the frets, with some CA Fret Leveling....... ........and crowning
  7. Ha Ha, well I aint got no machine! Any sugestions to a good planner are welcome!...........I guess I should try using my router....dumb dumb
  8. Thank you for your comments! nah aint the first build, although it is the first time I took photos. This was 2 years ago, all finished, just thought I'd share the photos. 9. Oh that neck looks waaaaaay better (access!) than any Fender or Les Paul!
  10. I can see why, for medical reasons, I have been forbiden to drink or smoke haha!
