I ordered a fretboard this summer and they just left it outside my house... UPS is frigging stupid.. luckily it was normal temperature or it coulda really ****ed the wood up.. but still, shouldnt be able to do that.. Matt we need some updates on this thing, Gogogo btw desopolis.. Thought I just might let you know, he means -12 celcius lol O_O You may think like "God im not that dumb" but some americans honestly think the temperature goes from 60 F to -12 F as soon as you cross the border.. lol

Eh.. I personally would take a orange flame veneer over almost any finish, except for a diff color (like blue) and a quilt top. Its personal preferance I guess, as I hate all solid finishes/fabric finishes good work though. its interesting enough

the wings kinda look different from eachother.. make sure they're symetrical and it would be amazing.

Is this possible to do?? Anyone have pictures of stained MOP? Gives me good idea for a maple fretboard inlay.. Stained blue MOP would look amazing on that heh

Hey guys, I was curious, looking for ideas for my custom.. Is there any maple fretboard guitars with single 12th fret inlays?? I cant seem to find many.. Im looking for two 12" PA/guitar speakers that are 8ohms, and 125watt minimum each... and two 10" also (same specs) Anyone know where I can find the best prices for something like this that would sound alright for a PA system? Im in Canada, so places like ZZsounds is not possible Thanks

Alright guys, I am using a Pod XT into a PA, No amp head here, and my best bet is PA speakers.. I have my own cab built, but i need speakers, and im not a fan of v30s and normal guitar speakers because A) it colours the sound and too low wattage my PA is 500watts, so im hoping to get 4 speakers at least 150w each, just so they wont blow We will disregard ohm, since I have that all understood and know what I need to fry it but im wondering, Car speakers... are they good enough for replacement PA speakers? like the cheap ones on ebay that are like $50 a pair, but 250watts, would those work good for my PA system? http://cgi.ebay.com/2-PA-DJ-bass-guitar-12...1QQcmdZViewItem Those are basically the type that im talking about, or something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/XP-12-PAIR-1000-W-CAR-...1QQcmdZViewItem Anyone have any advice?

Not sure if this would go in here or where.. Im looking to find an Ibanez RG 7 string of some sort, Preferably a 7621 or 7421, but I wanna get it refinished to (with a blue quilt veneer top) so I thought I would ask on here if anyone is selling a RG 7 and can refinish it for me with a Blue quilt top.. That would be amazing! Also would like to replace the fretboard with one I have right now at my house.. I am pretty sure its sized for a 7... I have abunch of guitar stuff to trade, including a great condition Ibanez SZ or a RG570, or cash.. or a combination possibly.. Either way, what im trying to say is I REALLY want a RG7 with a blue quilt top, and I tried refinishing my own guitars, and they turned out really bad. If anyone has one and can help me, PM me please! Very interested and wanting one =]

Yea thats why my custom im getting made, is gonna have my name on the back of the headstock.. Hehe that way if it gets stolen, People will know.. Its gonna be really original anyways, so one of a kind, along with my name and such.. Should be better off incase it gets stolen.. but im scared because theres been about 5-6 guitars stolen in my city in the past 2 months.. and my dads CD player in his car just got stolen like 3 weeks ago.. horrible people

Ok thanks, One more question for ya if you don't mind, If I had a 200 watt speaker on the left of my 2x12, and a lower (30) on the right.. would the left side of the cabinet be louder? Or does that even make sense? hehe.. Thanks

Anyone have any idea if more wattage in speakers will damage my PA? since my PA only wants 233w per channel, and im planning on getting speakers that will do above that?

If you could do a refinish on the top of it, put a quilted maple veneer on it with trans blue, and I send you a fretboard for you to install on it, I would buy it for a good price =] I have a ton of guitar parts, lots of 6 string necks/pickups and such, random stuff.. if you were interested

Hmm I have a better idea now.. What if I got 2 speakers, both 8 ohms... but one was a car speaker, 200watt rms, and the other was just a normal guitar speaker, used and cheap.. but still working. This way, I could use them parralell, to equal 4ohms, and I would get maximum wattage since the car speaker is giving off 200w rms, and the other one is still doing decent. Hello, Im going to make my own 2x12 amp.. so I bought a 2x12 cab, Thats taken care of. Now I just need speakers.. Im running basically a PA system, so I don't want any colouring of my sound thru the speakers, and I also am on a budget.. Heres my current set up Guitar > Pod XT Live > Behringer A500 (pure poweramp, no effects) > this 2x12 cab So, I am looking for what kinda speakers I should buy that would be best for me, in terms of money/effectiveness.. My A500 says "4ohm minimum on Stereo - 233watt, and 8ohm minimum on Mono - 500watt..." So I know I am going to need two 8ohm speakers to wire in series or paralell to achieve the 4ohm minimum for Stereo.. So I know two 8 ohm speakers.. I was looking on ebay, and saw some PA/car speakers, they normally have like.. "200 watts program / 450 watts peak"... now since when im doing stereo, the maximum output will be 233watts, Will that mean that these speakers will be too much for my PA? Or does it not matter how much watts the speakers can take, and wont damage my PA? Can anyone tell me if this looks like a good cabinet? It says 3/4" 13ply Birch, which I know is good, and it obviously looks good.. but someone told me using Nails is bad for construction..
