  1. when routing truss rod channels and for pickups is there anything else than can be used besides a router thats less expensive? i know could chisel it out but itll probably take extremely long. has anyone tried it? thanks

  4. whats the difference between an hand drill and a power drill? isnt it the same thing?
  5. my shop is a one of those tables with clamps, 2 regular staright saws, hand drill and sand paper all in a filthy unfinished basement full of renovation wood. is there any cheap way i could cut out a strat style body shape out of a piece of wood without spending too much money? a and for truss rod routing, any way of doing it without a router? could i do it with one of those press drills? how much for press dril and bandsaw? thanks alot!
  6. the best way is still to do the chromatic stuff. it may be boring but its the best way.
  7. the best way is this: play frets 1-2-3-4 in order on 6 th string then do same on 5th and so on... when youre finished at 1rst string slide your fingers up a fret and go down the neck 5-4-3-2 the go 2nd string continue this chain up the neck using up and down picking 2nd tip: PRACTICE!

  9. one more thing... my bridge is starting to corrode and lose color and rust ive had it for a little over a year. anyone have this problem?
  10. 8 years? even if you wash your hands all the time... didnt they break once yet?????? hey and guy who said hes looking for best strings for rammestein etc., theres no real best string you just gotta try em all out and find it for yourself the strings you play wont change your <style> of music
  11. hey guys ive been going to the jazzfest all week in montreal and i met a couple guitarists performing. anyone heard of these guys?   12. i never do anything to maintain my strings. why? i just dont believe it will change anything. i heard of some people buying oils to spray on their strings to keep the elastic but... i dont think it changes a thing. i go through a set every 2 weeks or so.
  13. thanks but i think youre slightly wrong. there was 2 valvestate series. valvestate 1 and valvestate 2 (aka AVT) mine is from the first model. thats probably why you couldnt find the 80 watt model . anyone know how much it is worth today?

  22. yeah ive been doing it with my computer for a while but the quality isnt too good... plus i hate dragging all my stuff to the computer every time i want to record.
