    Does anyone know the dimensions of the neck on Fender's "Mandocaster" ? (for those not familiar , it was an electric mandolin sort of like a solid body electric.) I need measurements etc. Or if anyone knows where I may find these measurements let me know. Thanks, Keith

    Question on the body inlay. Is the inlay done before or after the paint? I ask because I have a project idea that includes some inlay on the body and was wondering about the process. Oh yeah........damn fine guitar Goat!! Keith

    After bolting my licensed strat neck onto my Saga strat body, there is about a 2mm space between the heel of the neck and the pickguard. Is there a remedy for this? Will that small space make a difference in the actual scale length? Thanks, Keith

    Can you sell the maple fetboard necks for the Strat kits by themselves or do they have to be purchased with the kit? If you can seel them alone.....what is the price? Thanks, Keith

    I am in search of a Strat/Squier neck with a maple fretboard and the large "CBS" style peghead. I have spotted two on eBay but someone else wants them worse than I do. If anyone has one of the necks for sale, please let me know. Thanks, Keith

    I'm 37 and new to the forum. I am also married. I am a Services Technician for the telephone company. (more commonly know as a "repairman") I am new to building custom guitars. I have customized some guitars in the past but never built any from yhe ground up. I would love to be able to build custom guitars for a living. My first project is going to be my version of an Ynwie Malmsteen style guitar with the scalloped neck and the works. It being my first "project", it will probably take a while to complete.

    Hello all.......new to the forum and new to building guitars as well. I am in the process of building my version of an Yngwie Malmsteen "Strat" . ( scalloped neck and all) I will be painting the guitar in a vintage white color. Does anyone know where I can get this color? Will a vintage white or cream automotive paint work as well?
