The Project Guitar.com "Guitar of the Month" contest is a showcase for all the members, so show us your axe in this thread!

This contest is open to any and all members that enter and will be continued each month for a place showing your creation on the homepage!

The winner(s) of course will have his/her guitar featured on the homepage of Project Guitar.com and if you have a website the picture will link directly to it if you so choose (even commercial site's).

If your a forum member you will also be upgraded to a Featured member which allows you to see the Advanced Chat section and download area.

So show us your creation in this thread! You've got till midnight EST the 21st of June then this thread gets locked and the voting starts!

Any Post that is not an entry will be deleted, feel free to start a new thread to discuss any guitar entered this month

There may be more then one poll to determine winners in different catagorys at the end of this contest!

Please post a maximum of your 4 best pictures per guitar entered

Side note, if you are unable to post a picture you can e-mail one to Brian and it will be posted for you

Heres one i built for my cousin last year.

Swamp ash body with maple top

Zebrano neck with ziracote fretbaord and headplate

PRS HFS pickups (Swinesheads in picture but we changed em)

24 3/4" scale length

I inlayed his bands logo at the 12-14th fret with black MOP,

Not sure what to call the colour, it varies from very dark blue/green almost black to quite bright green depending on light

The Ultimate CBG

My Blog Post

Here's the most extensive Cigar Box Guitar I've built to date.

The CBG was built to be played mostly with a slide. Built around the players

specs, it's a five string monster with a traditional truss rod and 24 3/4 scale.

The owner is a huge Derek Trucks fan.

She's Finally done, here are the specs -

Specs

- Thru-neck maple/walnut sandwich

- ebony fretboard

- mother of pearl dots

- 16" fretboard radius

- 34" scale length

- Gotoh compact bass tuners

- Bone nut

- Ash wings w/ black grainfiller

- Tung Oil finish

- 2 seymour duncan basslines pickups (one p-bass one J-bass)

- 2 volume knobs and 1 master tone knob

- Schaller 4-string roller bass bridge

This is the fourth guitar me and my friend have finished, and our first GOTM entry.

This is the revised version of our last design, the Serpentine. It has a bigger body, a different headstock, and better upper register accesability.

Specs:

Neck thru maple neck

Black Limba body wings

Ebony fretboard

Mop diamond inlays

Schaller floyd

Grover locking mini Rotomatics

Dimarzio FRED in the bridge position

Dimarzio PAF Joe in the neck position

Dunlop straplocks

Controls: volume, PU selector, tone, Varitone, series/parallel for each pickup, booster on/off.

Oil finish

This one was made for the guitar player in my band.
