gw_guitars
Hi Guy's Here is a picture of the two p-90 pickups. They were a gift but I have the feeling that there not complete. How do I put them in? I mean they don't have mounting rings, so they must have another system but I can´t find it. Thanx Gerard
Executioner606
They are missing the screws. The 2 holes by the polpieces are where the screws should go.
gw_guitars
Yeah, the part about the screws I understand but where are they screwed in? Where will the springs be? I mean; there must be a way to change the height of the pickup? Gerard

For some reason i dont remember them using springs. The screw goes directly into the wood in the cavity. http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/parts/part...=include_screws Edited September 2, 2004 by Executioner606
Setch
No springs. Height is set by the depth of your pickup route. You can tweak it using wooden shims or a piece of close celled foam under the pickup.
rob
they screw directy into the wood, there is no way to addjust the hight other than the pole peices, just the way P-90's should be! hard and rocking!
mpeg2
This didn't make an awful lot of sense to me when I built one with P90s, so I used short lengths of rubber tubing between the PU & wood to act as springs - I can adjust the height easily (and they sound great).
