There are a couple of rather cheap guitars on ebay right now, the guitars are crap (so say harmony central user reviews) but im wondering if i could just hack everything out, put on a nice new warmoth neck, and ebay the old parts. bluespresence Posted September 3, 2004 Report Share Posted September 3, 2004 My suggestion is to keep checking ebay for the old Kramer's or whatever brand that were acrylic/lexan. You'll eventually find a deal on one. Buy the whole guitar and mod it to your liking. I am not sure why you would want one for any reason but looks though. I play a Les Paul bass (15-17 pounds - I never did weigh it but it is heavy) and the Kramer acrylic made it feel light They sound good to my ears but man, they are HEAVY!!
