sscovill Posted September 6, 2004 Report Share Posted September 6, 2004 When building a Les Paul, can some tell me two things: 1-Does the nut "sit" at the top of the 1st fret or is it inlaid into the fret? 2-What is the length of the 1st fret? Some guitars have a zero fret with a nut behind it.
