Where can i find schematics for this wiring.

Could someone give me a head start :D It looks very interesting and i want to do it for my strat

How about an alternative that's almost as flexible and easier to get around?

The double barrel switching mod at Guitar Nuts can be done with a 5 way rotary switch. I did mine on a H-S-H guitar that has a push-pull pot to split the buckers...

what is a 4 pole, 3 position switch? and would this work for my first link

Yeah, but you don't have to use 2 blade switches. I used a 5 position rotary switch in place of my tone control, so my guitar (that had one 5 way switch, one vol, one tone) still looks stock. With a strat, you could still have a master vol & master tone and use the third knob as the second 5 position switch.

But whatever turns you on. All kinds of switches here:

You're kinda new at this, aren't ya? :D That Ebay setup eliminates one of the tone pots to make room for the switch, as it states clearly in the auction - you could easily do the same thing and use the Double Barrel mod with "no alterations to the pickguard". In other words, they'd look exactly the same. Of course, I have no idea why you'd worry about a Strat looking stock with humbuckers in it. B)

4 poles indicates 4 separate circuits, and three positions means each pole has three different connections. That switch will probably work fine. As for the wiring, take a look at the options lists and it becomes apparent what is happening:
  • Position 1 is unchanged
  • Position 2 simply splits the bridge and neck humbuckers and adds the bridge pickup to the neck pickup positions.
  • Position3 simply puts the bridge pickup in series with the neck pickup on those same positions.

You could do the same thing with three push/pull pots, and retain the stock tone controls. And High Quality Marine Grade wire aside, you could do it for a lot less than 80 bucks. :D
