Bounty Hunter
I was digging through a box of electronic stuff a fellow gave me, and found an old Realistic SA-10 stereo amplifier (solid state stuff). I was thinking about gutting it and trying to turn it into a small guitar amp. It doesn't look like it would be much of a problem, any thoughts or advice from the pros? lovekraft
It'll probably work just fine as-is. Just hook up a preamp to the inputs and wail away. keep in mind that solid state stereo amps are seldom designed to overload gracefully, so it probably won't sound great if you push it too hard.
