jer7440
Hotrock, What are you using for your raster to vector conversion? I have some freeware but it is scetchy at best.
Hotrock
Sketchy Freeware too. I'm using the free version of WinTopo. It's not too bad for converting from GIS systems and pdfs. I convert dwf files using the paste special (then AutoCAD entities) command in AutoCAD.
jer7440
Yeah, I'm using wintopo freeware as well. That's how I converted marzocchis drawing. Well, I used wintopo to get the outline, but then I had to go back in and redraw over top of it to get something useful.
Marzocchi705
well, i forgot to take my template in to class today, so i couldnt do any work on the actual thing. I wont be able to do anything till after the christmas break, unless santa brings me a bandsaw. Im building it out of ash with a maple neck, 24 fret rosewood board. Im really looking forward to starting this project now.
