ryeisnotcool2
im curious as to if it is as good as the other types of finishes. any one know the pros and cons?
Brian
Have it , use it , wouldn't recommend it unless you have a controled situation to work with which I don't. If there is to much moisture in the air it will leave a blue haize that does not go away. I'm sure there are plenty of people that use it with great results but for me it just an enviromentally friendly product that I'm still trying to figure out. Setch
I used it on my Black and Blue Double cut. It is a very forgiving finish to apply, quick drying (I could handle the guitar after 30 -45 mins) and it builds pretty quickly. It buffed out to a very acceptable gloss. I am not familiar with the humidity problems Brian mentioned, though my black did have a bluey tint, which I had assumed was due to dodgy dye mixing by me. I'll be using the same laquer when finishing my next guitar, which will be clearcoated and shellaced only, so I'll let y'all know how it goes. Brian
Well for me I always have to put the additives in since I'm in Florida Example: Current Humidity in the shop at this moment 57% Current Temperature 97.
