LGM Guitars Posted June 14, 2003 Report Posted June 14, 2003 My opinion of water based clear remains pretty well the same, takes a very long time to harden, and never looks completely clear, however, I haven't tried Stew Mac's stuff, might be worth a shot who knows, I just don't care for laquers anymore though. just my opinion though. As for Teek, I would seal the whole body first (not just the teak) and personally, I would feel better spraying oily woods like that with Poly, it seems to work over almost anything. Jeremy Quote
