I am going to build a new neck as soon as I am done with my current project. Do you think I should go with the stock SD headstock? Or go with the head stock of there more expensive models such as the solidac or the xtsa? (O BTW my guitar is not red with maple like the pic on the site. How about a carved, slotted headstock like a classical guitar? I REALLY want to make a bass with a carved, slotted headstock but have a billion other fires in the iron.
