Drak
For Sale: 1 -VERY SWEET- 1968 Traynor YSR-1 50W Head w/ Reverb and factory Bias Modulated Tremolo! Has the third tranny/choke, yup. These are pretty hard to find, especially in the shape this one's in, completely original condition and still working fine No 70's flip-top stuff No baby buggy bumper stuff All '60's era amp 2-EL34, 6-7025's 4 inputs 2 channels Controls: V-1/V-2/Treble/Bass/Reverb/Speed/Intensity Channels can be bridged for tone shaping Amp is in original condition -Never- serviced as far as I can tell Everything works fine! Phillips power and pre-amp tubes Cab has some small paint splatters on the tolex, but they come off with some TLC There is a band name spray-painted on the rear, but I didn't put it there. It might be removable w/ the right solvent. Besides those two items, this is one of the nicest, most original YSR-1's you'll ever see, especially the grillecloth, you rarely see original grillecloth that looks this nice on old Traynors. Original Cab. Original Tolex in -great- original shape. Original grillecloth in EXCELLENT shape. Original logo in EXCELLENT shape. Chassis in very nice shape, no rust at all. Faceplate in great shape. Complete Tubesheet still in place I'm not sure if the knobs are original to the amp or not, but they are -great- knobs, I was inclined to keep them for something else I like 'em so much. I look at Traynor amps on e-Bay all the time, I've never seen a YSR-1 this clean and original so far. Clear, detailed pics upon request $400.00 + s/h to USA lower 48 Payment by M.O. only No trades thanks. Will be expertly boxed for safe arrival This is a really nice example of an amp you don't see every day, and a very cool vintage amp at that. Think Super Reverb in a head, but EL-34 powered. Thanks for looking!

rottenapple786
I hope you have at one point replaced the tubes? I mean it'd be cool if it sounded brand new with 40 year old tubes but that's kinda unlikely. Do you ship to canada? i suppose not by you saying lower 48 states but just checking. O btw if anyone wants to see what it looks like: http://www.lynx.bc.ca/~jc/traynorCat.html Edited February 4, 2005 by rottenapple786
