PaulNeeds
I was looking at a really nice sunset tonight - one of those lovely pollution-based ones where the sky goes from a blood-red on the horizon through pink duck egg blue to a nice azure blue at the zenith, and thought that it would be one gorgeous guitar finish - especially in metallics. Now, there are some top-notch guys here at this sort of stuff, so I thought I'd ask - at the risk of appearing a fool, if a) it's possible to use such clours (4 tone red, pink, duck-egg blue azure blue) and b ) if anyone has managed it with metallic paint? Cheers,
LGM Guitars
sure it is, check out the painting tutorial I just put up a couple weeks ago, all of the 4 base colors I blended together are iridescent which still has a fine metal flake in it. Brian
Oh yes! I've seen a beautiful Blue to Green to Yellow in heavy Metalflake, not just metallic.
PaulNeeds
Thanks gents! I'll read through that again more closely. Hadn't really thought of it til that sky hit me last night. It's probably a bit ambitious for a first go at a non single colour, but one has to start sometime!
