Mark
My last experience with epoxy was in high school. The stuff was fairly easy to work with and leveled out when pouring it on thick. How do luthiers do it? Multiple thin coats with sanding? Or a thicker coat with some sanding followed off by a thin top coat to cover up the sanding marks? Would masking tape be sufficient to protect the neck during application? Thanks for any help.
Brian
Hi Mark, Masking tape will give you a nice cushion while your sanding it back down level if your not used to detail sanding. You can see how I used it in this tutorial
