bisonlespaul59
Is the neck angle on a telecaster straight or tilt like a lp at a slight angle. Also what do you guys, as luthiers use to cut out neck slots and pick up cavities. I have a CNC router with a cad program at my disposal if that helps. guitman32
We use routers of some sort or another to route body cavities. If you have a CNC router and know how to use it, great. Draw yourself up some plans and get-a-routin. Also, try the search function on this forum. It will answer most of your questions with ease! jay5
Teles with standard Fender bridges or more accurately and guitar (for the most part) with a standard fender bridge does not need a neck angle. Guitarman was right on about the search feature.

AcousticSmash
hey bison looks like im not the only person from GTU on here lookin for help. but yea the necks on almost every Tele I have ever played are completely aligned with the bridge. I doubt anyone would be impressed with a offset neck now would they? then again sometimes things can warp so it could offset the neck but thats if the strings are all loose. Devon Headen
If you're planning on not having a pickguard, you might want to add a little neck angle to get rid of the gap at the fretboard end. That's my only complaint with the tele I built with the usual tele specs. I personally prefer the feel of neck angle anyway.
