Robert_the_damned
I thought I'd just post this up as I had some time on my hands. (sorry about the poor lighting and poor quality of the pictures; they were taken with my useless webcam) This is my first project guitar. made from cheep ebay bits (mainly) badly lit full shot body back headstock body: some strat copy body (not ply though) filled in the trem and reshaped a bit neck: a hondo II neck. nice fat D profile. I love this neck! everything else is just cheep bits. the original jack socket possition was also filled and the socket moved to where the controls normally are. controls at the moment are: individual pickup switches and one vol. pot. the pickup switches allow for any coil (on/off) in parrallel and I can get the humbucker in series (the second coil of it had an (on/off/on) switch. the humbucker is an old epi one (sounds quite nice and warm and supprisingly not muddy) the single coils I have no idea about but they're pretty hot (about 7.5 ohms each!). gets a good 'surf' guitar sound. also good for punk stuff and some rock.
