Alchool
Hi all, I think that next week I'll finish working on my neck-through, and I should start to paint her. The stupid question is: where the hell should I put her to dry? With bolt on necks, you put a piece of scrap into the neck pocket, paint the guitar and hang the piece of wood used into the neck pocket to hang it. But for neck-throughs? Maybe I should put a hoock into the keyholes?
krazyderek
yup, just grab one of your mom's hangers and rip it apart, and use one of the holes in the headstock to hang it from, unless of course you get some Charles Xavier powers happening
Brian
I've also gone as far as to build a jig that touched both the fretboard and the pickup cavity holding the body up but it's only good for the back side, hanging it from one of the tuner holes is your best bet but seriously make sure you have a good strong wire to hang it with and it is curved right so it doesn't slide off the end.
