VanillaVox
Here it is, I stripped the paint off, smeard the pickboard with shoe polish and electrocuted some of the metal parts... I just love guitars without laquer! And here's how it look like befor I destroyed it : Edited June 18, 2005 by VanillaVox

haggardguy
1)laminate body? 2) with a headstock like that it should have a floyd or similar double locking trem just my $0.
VanillaVox
Well, it's a cheap guitar, and its the pickups that sounds, not the wood. But, what is the thing about that headstock that makes it need a floyd?
Luckis
S´pose it´s cause of that design, black, and a little sharp... Man, strip that peghead too, to my taste it doesn´t match with the stripped body
VanillaVox
Hi again, here is the final pic of my beloved Hondo! I decided to spraypaint it with some flourising pink, but it went out orange! The pickguard became yellow, and the headstock looks exactly the same (I dont want to ruin the logo :s) I wonder how long it takes before I'll repaint it again! MikeB
much nicer imo, good painting there really like the MRG thing
VanillaVox
Thanks Guess what guitar that made me write MRG But I think the pickups should have another colour, maybe black or green or something. What do you people think?
TenderSurrender
Ooh no doubt ill stand out for this BUT... I prefer it when it was a "relic" Although i prefer the relic, GREAT job on the refinish dude, looks really good! ~~ Slain Angel ~~
VanillaVox
Hehe, thats my lot in life too! Sometimes I wish it was still relic, and sometimes I wish I never did something to it at all! I gotta learn how to focus on PLAYINGING it rather that painting it By the way, the drawings on the orange one is an attempt making it look like Jimi's poor Monterey-guitar.
