borntorock1976 Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 Hi guys, This may sound like a stupid question, but do i specifically need a left handed trem arm as a replacement on a left handed floyd rose? Quote
RAI6 Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 Yes. The arm has an angle, so that it points slightly towards the strings. If you take a right arm, and put it on a lefty trem, the arm will point away from the strings... Quote
Pr3Va1L Posted July 9, 2005 Report Posted July 9, 2005 yea, I was thinking about getting a lefty whammy bar... in such a way i could use it with my picking hand's palm... that or a completely lefty trem. Quote
borge Posted July 10, 2005 Report Posted July 10, 2005 i have used both left and right hand trem arms on lefthanded trems and to me it doesnt make any difference allthough there is an obvious difference when you look at it, actually using it feels just the same (to me) Quote
