Inward X
what do u guys think about this idea.... I was thinking about using mini toggle switches as a selector switch. there would be two of them, for the neck and bridge pickups. the way i thought it through, it should work the same as a selector switch, but im still not sure..any advice/ideas? i was trying to stay away from a 3 way toggle and 5 way selector, i thought id come up with somethin a lil different, but lemme know. AlGeeEater
Wrong section dude Try the Electronics forum next time. Why don't you wan't to just use a 3 or 5 way switch though?
Inward X
oh..my bad i figured id try somethin a lil different. plus i dont want to have to buy another router bit thats like the with of a penny in diameter..i think its a waste of my money. i really dont want to go with a gibson style toggle, since im going to have thumbwheel knobs instead of normal turning knobs (see maverick guitars) i dunno
lovekraft
I was thinking about using mini toggle switches as a selector switch...That'll work just fine - check out the Fender Mustang/Duosonic/Jag-Stang for an example. Fender uses slide switches, but mini-toggles will work just as well. http://www.jag-stang.com/schematic.htm

Digideus
Ive also seen people use Push/pull knobs to do this, though for practicality, they had one Vol knob for each pickup.
