Using Ca Glue Or Epoxy To Grain Fill

hi everyone im just wanting to make sure that if i use etiher CA glue or Epoxy to fill the grain on my already stained body (transparent Finish) that i would be able to sand it back with no ill effects. or should i use sand and sealer right afterward to add a protective layer?

this has gotten a little more complicated than i thought it would initially and i just want to make sure i do it right.
