crafty Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Yes, but you may have to shim your neck angle. Quote
dgk2448 Posted August 26, 2005 Author Report Posted August 26, 2005 [shim? lol thanks for the reply Quote
haggardguy Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 You'll also need to drill new holes for the mounting posts and anchors and you'll need either a locking nut or locking tuners or a locking clamp behind the nut. Quote
dgk2448 Posted August 26, 2005 Author Report Posted August 26, 2005 ok i have another question, would a strat tbridge with locking saddles and locking tuners work tothe same tuming stability effect? Quote
haggardguy Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 Not as much as a floyd but it would definately be an upgrade from a standard strat trem plus I'm not sure if those bridges have fine tuning screws so retuning might involve more work? I don't really know Quote
Rhoads369 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 i dont think many, if any, of the tuning stability vintage trems have fine tuners; i've never seen any of them at least. if you don't want to deal with routing/chiseling your fingerboard, i suggest getting one of the tuning stability vintage trems and put a tremsetter on it Quote
haggardguy Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 Don't get a tremsetter, wait till the tremol no comes out,its much more useful . Quote
