kevin7
Thanks for the comments, guys!!! It's not a drop top-just a 1/4" inch flame maple on a 1 1/2" walnut back. The frets are not gold, they are Dunlop 6100's!! The comment about the RG and a Paul is dead on!! That was what I was going for!
Hughes
sorry about a very dumb question, but what do you mean by a droptop?
kevin7
I think it means instead of having a carved top, you take a bookmatched top set and bend it so it will lay down over a forearm carve on Strats and others with a forearm carve. I saw a really good tutorial of one somewhere here on the forum!

Ptt-Guitars
Awesome work, I like how the turquoise and the natural woods all work together, they don't clash....good on ya. Have ya strung it up and had a play yet??? As if you didn't work day and night to get it strung up!!? kevin7
Yes, I strung it up and set it up. It plays great and the has awesome sustain!! I am using a Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge and a Duncan '59 in the neck. Overall, I am really pleased with how my first project turned out!!
