daveq
What do you guys use for a good tuner capable of decent accuracy on intonation work? I have read good and bad things about the Korg DT7 - anyone used one? Any other tuners I should check out? I can't afford a strobe tuner. I'm looking for something $100 or less. I'm also guessing that an analog meter would be better than the LED style, right? Thanks, Dave
Rocket
i use the Peterson VS-1. if it has to be under $100 i'd suggest either the Boss TU-12H or the TU-15, something with a needle. LED's won't cut it.
RCG
At the store where I do tech work I use an older Peterson Strobe tuner. At home I use a free tuner for the PC from Audio Phonics which can be found here: http://www.surfrockmusic.com/apgt.html
Guitarfrenzy
very cool link RCG.. thanks!! I got alot of tuners but this would be killer for recording on my computer.. I could check the tuning without having to unplug from my Delta1010 soundcard.. and stay in the Nuendo environment.. I'm gonna test run it later today.. lol
