rob
I've been offered a crate tube driver 70watt amp for £150, and I was just wondering if any one thinks these are any good...or bad. I'd like to know any good/bad things a bout it. I think these were made when Marshall first launched their valvestate combos. I am trying it on monday for 2 days(my local shop is very helpful) and then can say if I'll buy it. Thanks Rob

syxxstring
never heard of a crate tube driver but i dont follow there stuff much. Chandler Made a Tube Driver pedal and rackmount distortion/pre-amp that kicked butt. rumored to damage amps though. i used one for years w/ no problem. crate made a vintage club series that was definitly cool stuff for the price. id pick one of them up in a heart beat. hope this helps
