Original paint Then i painted in Butterscotch nitro. Butterscotch The guy with the bass its the owner, but he hate nitro and told me, what did you do with my bass? i use my bass a lot and the nitro its not good for me, and then he asked me for a black sunburst, i told him your bass dont have a good wood figure, but here its the job. I use a normal gun, not an airbrush and i strip the center of the body. 1 I let the body drying and then i sanded with #2000 to eliminate scratches. Sanding Polishing. Polishing The back back After polishing, buffing with wax. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/gui...ra/DSC07812.jpg I usea a DUPONT Paint, poli, acrilyc, and polish 3m and wax 3m, working with Dupont products its an awesome help, what brand do you use? imgettingcloser Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 That paint looks great. Can you give me more info on how you got that color? Thats the color I'm looking to do. What brand dye you use? How did you lay it down, by hand rubing the center or did you spray the whole guitar with the black? Any info you can give me would be great. Quote
