The Fatalities
I am building a custom coffin case and bought a product i think was called Selleys no need for nails. Its supposed to be an wood adhesive that replaces nails because its soo strong. 100% polyurathane i think. would i still need dowels to join the wood pieces or is this glue sufficient? Mattia
You don't need dowels, or screws, but I'd probably add them for a little extra insurance when making a case that'll get battered around a bit.
Marzocchi705
+1, adding a dowel wont make the joint any weaker and for the whole what 10 seconds it will take to drill each one i think its worth doing. Dowel joints are nice and easy and that stong glue you have will ensure a tight joint that will last. And post pictures when your done
