I normally gota keep ma glasses on wen I play guitar but wen Im on stage, it sux cos Im quite an active player!! Basically I had this really cool idea that I replace the pearl inlays with a thin layer of clear-plastic stuff (I duno wat the hell ya call it - im no einstein!) and then put small LED lights in there.. probably make a small cavity in the guitar to put a battery in and a small switch on the face of the body. has anybody tried this before? if so, did it go successful? could you guide me through how to do this? and importantly to myself, any1 know any good suppliers of LED & circuitry for them!??!?!?!? This must be the hot topic of the month anyway the best ideas so far are to remove the fretboard, route it out and of course channel the power supply lines in along with the LED's.
