DanielM
wow, that is quite the coincidence, your bass is also a slightly similar shape to ours (what with the horns going in the same direction) that's really neat. so what pups are you going to put in this thing? actually scratch that it looks like my Zebrawood Lado! sexybeast
I like the idea so far. Basses seem to be made in much cooler shapes than guitars.
travismoore
well all depends on what the person making it wants you could make a guitar in a shape just as unusual
travismoore
Hi i need some help knowing which truss rod to get and where i would need to route the hole for it. My neck is 25-1/4" inches long I was looking at this truss rod but its only 24" is that long enough or am i making a beginners mistake can some one help ? Truss Rod
Maurits
I'm pretty sure thats long enough. About where to place it you might want to try putting it under the fretboard Just kidding. It depends on wether you want the adjustment part at the headstock or at the body side. Matter of preference really.
travismoore
Oh cool thanks for the help Im ordering a that melvyn hiscock book soon and hopefully that will give me more of that sort of information
WezV
The part of the neck near the body (or in the body) will cope without the truss rod.

Logical Frank
Looks nice. You made a mistake on yourwebsite in the caption under the nut and the jack. The current one would have us to believe that slotted bit of carbon fiber is a bridge.

De Trepagny
About the truss rod, may i suggest you to put a hotrod from Stemac hot rod . You will be able to add more bow if your neck is too stiff and too straight. On a fretless, a straight neck can lack of sustain because the string do move freely. Unless you want to play with a high action, a little bow is desirable. Philippe
