Fender709 Posted August 30, 2006 Report Share Posted August 30, 2006 I have an ovation acoustic electric guitar, and i want to change the buttons on the tuning machine heads, but i cant seem to figure out how to remove them, any ideas guys? The tuner hole is O that big and the post is o that big, so that thing on top is just to keep it centerd and prevent wobbling. There should be a screw holding it in on the back of the headstock. Nowhere near all machines have screws to prevent rotation. He wants to take the buttons off and replace them, not the entire machine head.
