Dimarzio ones (on the pickups i have anyway) are actually moulded into the bobbin. So i assume those are part of the mould. What are you thinking of doing? Depending on your negotiating skills, it could be as low as 20 dollars for a small screen - and you can use it again and again and again. Tonerider Posted October 18, 2006 Report Share Posted October 18, 2006 Yes, you should use acrylic paint, and use thinner to bring it down to the right consistency. For pickups you are often screening white paint on black bobbins, and the logo types are really small, so any lateral movement of the screen is really visible.
