Lizard_King
I'm thinking of building another LP style guitar, but would like to use maple for the board and neck on this one. As well as make it considerably smaller. I'm thinking along the lines of a Strat neck. Has anyone tried this yet? If so, how much does it change the tone of the LP? Zakk Wylde has a Maple/Maple Les Paul Custom. As for smaller, what do you mean? If you mean thinnner, the 60's slim taper neck by Gibson is similar in thickness compared to my Strat. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gib...mp;src=3SOSWXXA
