Stew Mac has the luthier's friend but its seems to me like this could be home made in a snap. I bought a Robo-sander and made myself a drill table with a fence and it pretty much does everything that luthier's friend does. I find though that the robo-sander is not as precise as you'd think it is. I hate working with this thing. I have to true up everything after by hand. It's a bitch when it drags the wood in when you don't start on the right side though :-D At least, I blame the sander, not my choice of feed direction. Ahem.
