Neck Thru Bass Build Question

if i build my body neck portion and i build the bass so after i glue the wings on the sides the fretboard does not rest on the body but is 1/8 inch above the body like on abolt on will i have to angle the neck then like most neck thru are.

I'm not an expert at this, but from what I know, it depends on how high the bridge is.
